Wildwood, NJ - 10/16/21
Being able to shoot Amanda and Billy's big day was a such a pleasure for me. The two are wonderfully kind people and were surrounded by such an outgoing and fun group. Their wedding day has definitely made it toward the top of the list of my favorite events I have photographed.
I was able to begin my day with Amanda and her fantastic group of bridesmaids, where we also got an awesome first look with her Dad! Afterwards, we headed over to the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse. This spot has a beautiful garden where we were able to capture some special first looks. Amanda wanted to do a first look with their son first, which was super sweet! This gave us the idea to have Billy do first looks with their daughter, but we didn't tell him and he thought he was going to turn and around and see Amanda - it was a great moment and reaction!
After exchanging letters, this group followed the path out of the garden that led right up to the water where Billy and Amanda had their sweet and simple ceremony before heading over to the beach for some scenic portraits.
The reception continued to prove to me how special and fun this couple is - they had their official first dance include their entire wedding party before having one with just the two of them. The remainder of the evening was a big party ending with Amanda and Billy each taking a fork-full straight from their wedding cake!
